Website Privacy Policy

Responsive Drip Irrigation, LLC

www.rdiirrigation.com | Effective date: September 14, 2026

Responsive Drip Irrigation, LLC (“RDI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) explains in this Privacy Policy how it handles personal information in connection with www.rdiirrigation.com, its contact and distributor inquiry forms, its distributor portal, and related Website communications (the “Website”). RDI is the entity responsible for the Website information and processing described here, including as controller where applicable. The related companies Responsive Drip Irrigation Manufacturing, Ltd., Responsive Drip Irrigation Materials Trading, Ltd., and Responsive Drip Irrigation USA, LLC are separate legal entities. Their relationship with RDI does not, by itself, make them controllers of Website information or authorize disclosure of that information to them. This Policy does not govern a separate Lazy Sprouts store, independent distributors’ websites, employee records, or product telemetry addressed by a separate notice.

1 Information You Provide

When you contact us or request a distributor referral, we collect information you submit, which may include your name, email address, telephone number and country code, company, country, how you heard about RDI, the location of a proposed project, and your message. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary to your request.

For authorized distributor accounts, we process account identifiers, business contact details, authentication information, account status, and records of account use. If you subscribe to updates or interact with our communications, we process your contact information and communication preferences. We also retain correspondence and information reasonably necessary to answer questions, maintain business relationships, and address requests or complaints. Information designated as required on a form is needed to process that request; optional fields need not be completed.

2 Information Collected Automatically and Other Sources

Website servers and related services may record IP addresses, device and browser information, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times, search activity, and security or error logs. An IP address can indicate an approximate geographic area. Cookies, local storage, tags, and similar technologies may collect identifiers and activity information as explained in our Cookie Policy.

We may receive your business contact or project information from a distributor or business contact involved in your request. We use that information for the referral or relationship for which it was provided and give any additional notice required by law. We also receive service, security, and Website usage information from providers supporting the Website. If information is obtained indirectly, you may contact us to ask about its source.

3 Purposes of Processing

We use relevant contact, project, and correspondence information to answer inquiries, identify distributors, provide requested materials, and manage business relationships. We use account and activity information to authenticate authorized users, administer portal access, troubleshoot problems, and protect the Website against misuse.
Subject to applicable choices and legal requirements, we use Website activity information to understand usage and improve content, and contact and preference information to send requested updates or permitted business marketing. We use appropriate records to comply with legal obligations, document permissions, resolve disputes, and protect legal rights. We will provide further notice and obtain consent when required before materially incompatible new uses.

4 Website Service Providers

Our Website uses WordPress-based functionality and third-party services that support Website operation, security, forms, analytics, communications, and related features. Current services may include CookieYes for consent management, LiteSpeed for Website performance and caching, Google services used for form protection or other Website functionality, and Google Analytics for Website measurement once enabled.

Additional services may be used where required for specific Website features. The current cookies and similar technologies associated with active services are identified through the Customise Consent Preferences panel.

The information a service receives depends on the features enabled, the page you use, your choices, and the provider’s configuration. Embedded or externally loaded resources may receive your IP address, browser information, and the page requested even when no cookie is stored.

5 Disclosure of Personal Information

We disclose the categories of information described above only as relevant to the purposes below. Hosting, security, technical support, communications, account-management, and analytics providers may process information to supply their services, subject to applicable agreements and legal requirements. Some integrated providers also process information under their own privacy notices; review those notices when interacting with their services.

When you ask us to locate a distributor or arrange project assistance, we may provide your contact information, location, and relevant project details to the appropriate distributor or personnel acting for RDI. An independent distributor may act as a separate controller for its own relationship with you. A referral request does not constitute blanket consent to unrelated third-party marketing.
Authorized personnel acting for Responsive Drip Irrigation, LLC may access information as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. We do not treat every related company as a recipient merely because it belongs to the RDI group. If another RDI entity becomes involved in processing Website information, we will identify its role, disclose the relevant purposes, and put applicable arrangements in place before that processing begins, including additional notice or consent where required. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, address fraud, or establish or defend legal claims. In a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, information may be disclosed subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and applicable notice and other legal requirements. We may otherwise disclose information at your direction or with your valid consent.

6 Advertising and Information Sales

Some privacy laws define “sale” to include exchanges for nonmonetary value and “sharing” to include disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising. A Website can engage in these activities through third-party tracking even when it does not receive money for information.

7 Your Choices and Requests

You may ask questions or submit a privacy request through the email address, telephone number, mailing address, or Contact form in Section 14. Describe the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. You do not need to create an account to submit a request. For access, correction, deletion, or similar requests, we may reasonably verify your identity and an agent’s authority as permitted by law. We do not require identity verification for an opt-out where applicable law prohibits it.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the message’s unsubscribe instruction or by contacting us. Essential account, security, and requested service communications may continue. For cookies and comparable technologies, use the controls described in our Cookie Policy. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising privacy rights.

8 Rights Under Applicable Law

Depending on your location, RDI’s activities, and the law that applies, you may have rights to confirm processing, obtain access or a copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain portable information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, opt out of sales or targeted advertising, limit certain sensitive-information uses, or challenge qualifying automated decisions. Available rights are subject to statutory exceptions.

We respond within the period required by applicable law and will explain any permitted extension or denial. Where an appeal right applies, reply to our decision or contact us with “Privacy Appeal” and the reason for your appeal. We will provide the outcome and any applicable further complaint route. You may complain to the competent supervisory authority, state attorney general, or other regulator without first contacting us. This Policy does not require arbitration of a privacy complaint or waive statutory rights.

9 International Processing

Responsive Drip Irrigation, LLC is based in Florida and is responsible for the Website information described in this Policy. Information is processed in the United States. Access by RDI personnel or service providers from another country is an international processing activity even when the responsible company remains the same. RDI’s group includes UAE entities, but their existence alone does not mean that Website information is transferred to them. Countries may provide different legal protections for information.

Where a transfer is subject to legal restrictions, we use a permitted transfer mechanism and any required supplementary measures. For transfers governed by EEA or UK law, these may include an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, where valid and appropriate. You may contact us to request information about the safeguards relevant to your information and a copy where available, subject to lawful redactions. Merely visiting the Website does not constitute consent to an otherwise restricted international transfer.

10 Additional Information for EEA and UK Users

Where EEA or UK data-protection law applies, we rely on consent for processing that requires consent; legitimate interests for proportionate business inquiries, Website security, account administration, and improvement where those interests are not overridden by your rights; contract necessity for steps you request before entering your own contract and for performing that contract; and legal obligation for required compliance processing. For inquiries made by an employee of a business customer, our basis is ordinarily legitimate interests rather than a contract with that employee. Consent-based marketing and optional tracking require a separate choice where applicable.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation and may object to direct marketing at any time. Providing information is generally voluntary, but we may be unable to answer your request or provide restricted access without required contact or authentication details.

11 Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, considering the type and sensitivity of the information, the active relationship, your requests, applicable limitation periods, legal retention duties, and legitimate dispute or security needs. Inquiry records are retained according to their business relevance and any resulting relationship; account records according to the period of authorized access and necessary closeout; and technical logs according to security and operational needs. Cookie and local-storage durations are described in the Cookie Policy or associated settings. We retain limited suppression records when necessary to respect marketing opt-outs.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and risk. No system can guarantee absolute security. We address security incidents and provide notices as required by applicable law.

12 Children and Sensitive Information

The Website is directed to adult business contacts and a general audience interested in irrigation, and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so we can investigate and delete it as required. Do not submit payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through public inquiry forms. Account credentials should be supplied only through the designated login process. Additional restrictions apply to minors’ data where required by law.

13 Changes to This Policy

We update this Policy by posting a revised version and effective date. For material changes, we provide additional notice where appropriate and obtain consent when required before a new use. The current version is available through the Website’s Privacy Policy link. Prior versions may be requested using the contact information below.
